As part of Lateral Thinking’s design team I had the opportunity to work for Nike designing packaging, event spaces, and widow displays. During this time I worked at the creative and structural level. This also involved bespoke furniture design to fit specific spaces and requirements.
I worked closely with clients, project managers and creative directors to develop the briefs, and always saw projects through to completion, ensuring they met our clients expectations.
EVENT DESIGN & PRODUCTION
The Freakest Challenge is the biggest Xfit event in Barcelona, organised by Nike together with the sports equipment store Fittest Freakest. The event has grown year on year, reaching a capacity of 2000 at Sant Jordi Club.
We developed the access control, seating, crowd flow, and specific engagement points, allowing attendees to feel a part of the event. These included, a pop up shop for specialised Xfit equipment, an interactive photo op and a history wall, showing the evolution of Xfit, the sport, along side previous Freakest Challenge events.
HISTORY WALL & PHOTOCALL
The overall aesthetic followed that which is typical of Xfit with a gladiatorial feel, industrial materials, and bold graphics. We were proud that this event was largely sustainable, with most furniture, props, and structures made to last for future editions, or even alternative events.
Comms proposal for the launch of the new Air Max women’s day campaign. We adapted the retail elements to maximise customer attention. Creating a network of compositions at a three specific points through out the store.
